President and CEO
Sylvia J. Megret serves as President and CEO of ACDI/VOCA. As a global development executive with 30 years of experience, she promotes the organization's mission and lives its values in support of inclusive, sustainable development worldwide. Sylvia joined ACDI/VOCA in December 2016, first serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and then as President and COO from February 2021 - April 2022. She also served as the organization's interim CEO from December 2017 to June 2018. Sylvia is board chair of the Fundación ACDI/VOCA Latin America (FAVLA). She also serves as a board member of the Society of International Development's U.S. Chapter (SID-US) and was chair of the 2022 SID-US conference. Sylvia led ACDI/VOCA's engagement as a founding member of the Coalition for Racial and Ethnic Equity in International Development (CREED) and is also a founding member of Chief (Washington).
Vice President, Gender and Social Inclusion
Jenn Williamson, PhD, leads a team of advisors in developing and implementing ACDI/VOCA's organizational policy, strategy, guidelines, and resources to promote gender equality and the inclusion of marginalized groups who may be at risk due to social factors, such as their age, ability, sexual identity, religion, ethnic, or racial identity. Jenn also supports ACDI/VOCA's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) program, serving as a member of the DEI Sponsor Group that advises the staff-led working group, in addition to providing technical support for DEI strategy development and operationalization. Jenn serves as the gender and agriculture systems advisor–at the deputy chief of party level–for the Advancing Women's Empowerment (AWE) program, funded by the USAID Bureau for Resilience and Food Security. She previously led the women's economic empowerment learning track under the USAID-funded Leveraging Economic Opportunities (LEO) project. Prior to joining ACDI/VOCA in 2015, Jenn served as the global gender technical advisor at Counterpart International.

Jonathan Nash is the current President and CEO of Blumont. Before joining Blumont in 2019, Jonathan served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operating Officer at Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a US government agency focused on alleviating global poverty through economic growth. During his 13 years at MCC, he supported and oversaw the development, implementation, and management of dozens of projects in countries across Africa, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific. Jonathan began his international development career in 1995 as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras, working to establish health clinics and strengthen environmental education and land management efforts. He also served as a senior analyst at the US Government Accountability Office, where he conducted performance audits of federally funded programs, and served as a policy analyst with the Population, Health, and Environment Program of the Population Reference Bureau.
Chief Human Resource Officer
Susan Peacock is the Chief Human Resource Officer at Blumont. Susan is a seasoned human resource professional with more than 20 years of experience leading HR strategic operations, talent acquisition, leadership development, benefits, compensation, and other employee life cycle functions. She gained significant experience in the nonprofit, corporate, and municipal government sectors. Susan has an affinity for nonprofit and community work and has served in leadership roles at the Justice Mission, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, YMCA of Central Florida, and the State of Florida Department of Children & Families.
General Counsel
Susan Pascocello is Chemonics' General Counsel. An international development executive and lawyer, Susan brings more than 30 years of progressive private and public sector legal experience, including 25 years working in different aspects of international development. She served as USAID's General Counsel (Acting) for four years. During her time as Deputy General Counsel, she provided integral legal counsel across five USAID administrators and acting administrators, and two presidential administrations. In 2019, Susan launched the Law of International Development Initiative (LIDI) at the O'Neill Institute at Georgetown University Law Center. LIDI, a unique public-private partnership, serves as an intellectual and practical hub for innovative solutions to development challenges and works to mentor and train the next generations of development law leaders.
Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Dr. Kenya Dugger is the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Chemonics International. He brings 21 years of experience from the Department of Defense and more than fourteen years of experience working with executives in the areas of global diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, organizational culture, ethics, and compliance Before his position at Chemonics, Dr. Kenya spent two years as deputy director in the Center for the Army Profession, Diversity, and Leadership, where he advised on D&I programming. Dr. Pat Morris is President of the Equilo Foundation, which makes free, open-source data and analytics tools available to support the democratization of gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) analysis and action planning globally. She is a gender, diversity, and social inclusion expert with professional experience working with international relief and development organizations, global advocacy coalitions, international contracting firms, and higher education institutions. During her 25-year career, she has led dozens of organizations and corporations in institutionalizing gender and diversity policies, advancing women and girls' empowerment, and promoting social inclusion, women's rights, and gender equality in their policies and programs. Dr. Morris is the creator of InterAction's Gender Audit, an internationally acclaimed and adopted tool for organizational development and institutional transformation.

Russ Webster is the President and CEO of Food Enterprise Solutions. He has a long career promoting the private sector as a key driver for economic growth, poverty reduction, and food security. His work in over 40 countries across Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America has included designing and managing agriculture research, extension and rural finance programs overseas, evaluating project impact, and advising international donor agencies and foreign governments on how to structure policy priorities, regulatory frameworks, and programs that mobilize private capital and incentivize economic growth. With an established reputation as a strategic thinker, effective executive leader, solid team player, creative program design expert, and articulate advocate for global trade and development, Russ has turned his focus to reducing hunger, malnutrition, and poverty by strengthening the commercial viability of micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises, and making them the drivers for sustainable, healthy, and accessible food systems.
Director of Programs
Roberta Lauretta-Bernhard began her career serving in the Peace Corps as a livestock extension agent for the Ministry of Agriculture in Guatemala. This experience fueled her passion for helping farmers and agribusiness entrepreneurs—particularly women and youth— to improve their business operations, financial viability, and access to markets. With core competencies in production planning and supply chain management in livestock, poultry, vegetables, coffee, and cacao, and other value chains. Roberta has designed, managed, and implemented agriculture programs that promote rural income and livelihoods, while contributing to sustainable, safe, and nutritious food systems. She is a certified Veterinary Technician, a fluent Spanish speaker, and has extensive program management expertise with multiple donor organizations, companies, and foundations across 39 countries.

Carrie Hessler-Radelet is the President & CEO of Global Communities. She previously served as President & CEO of Project Concern International (PCI), a global development organization that drives innovation from the ground up to enhance health, end hunger, overcome hardship and advance women & girls—resulting in a meaningful and measurable change in people's lives. Carrie led a bold effort to bring together PCI and Global Communities to expand the scale and impact of proven programs. The merger became effective on September 1, 2021. Prior to PCI, Carrie served as Director of the Peace Corps (2012-2017) and Deputy Director (2012-2015), leading America's iconic international volunteer service organization with programs in over 65 countries. Carrie is passionate about empowering communities to discover their own sustainable, innovative solutions to poverty.

Ajay S. Kalotra is the President and Chief Executive Officer of IBTCI. Most recently, he served as Project Director and Quality Control Officer on programs covering a myriad of subjects, including bank restructuring, counter-insurgency, global health, mission-wide and whole of government monitoring and evaluations, public financial management, procurement, and social accountability. Most notably, Ajay served as the Project Director of the qualitative evaluation of the impact and effectiveness of the USAID/Iraq Community Stabilization Program as a non-lethal tool for counterinsurgency. Prior to joining IBTCI, he served as Head of the U.S. Office of a boutique financial research firm with primary operations in the U.S., U.K., and Singapore.

Jody Schubert serves as a Principal at IBTCI. Jody is an international development professional with more than 28 years of experience. Over the past ten years Jody focused on business development and strategic growth, developing technical approach strategies to address economic growth, governance, institutional support, and evaluation and learning challenges worldwide for international development organizations. Earlier in her career, Jody taught undergraduate courses in international business and management as an adjunct faculty member with Marymount University and led project management and business development teams focused on economic growth and governance for Management Systems International, International City/County Management Association, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Furthermore, her career includes experience in private sector management consulting focused on quality assurance benchmarking and change management with Xerox Corporation and Transnational Management Associates UK.
CFO & EVP of Finance, Administration, and IT
Yvonna Stevens is International Youth Foundation's (IYF) Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President. In this role, she oversees global finance, accounting, compliance, operations, and information technology. She previously served as IYF's Director, International Finance and Administration from 2007 to 2018, during which time she provided financial management expertise in the oversight of international branch offices, project operations, and regional financial portfolios. She has worked in the field of international non-profit finance and operations for 20+ years, and has traveled to support a variety of programs in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East to develop financial management systems, set up infrastructure for international branch offices, and provide capacity strengthening to local community organizations. Yvonna has an unwavering passion for collaborating with diverse communities and cultures. She is dedicated to working in youth development and enthusiastic about applying her skills as a tool to support and strengthen programs that benefit youth and the people she works with through IYF.

Janet Clement is the CEO of Jefferson Consulting Group. She has 30 years of experience leading growth, change, and improvement, with a focus on customer solutions. Prior to joining Jefferson, she was Executive Vice President for Strategy and Execution/COO with Golden Key Group (GKG), responsible for defining, leading, and executing the company portfolio of services and solutions, growing the business from $20 to $50 million since 2016 and culminating her time there by winning the Department of Commerce HR Shared Services contract. Prior to GKG, she was a Senior Director with ASI Government. She also spent nine years with Unisys Federal, building a Human Capital Practice, and leading several strategic accounts including the United States Patent and Trademark Office, US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Federal Aviation Administration, and General Services Administration.

Angela Dorsey is a Vice President and DEIA Council Chairperson at Jefferson Consulting Group. With 23 years of experience and 8 years at Jefferson, Angela continues to lead teams in the acquisition arena, all while building the foundation of Jefferson's DEIA Council.

Indira Ahluwalia founded the Coalition for Racial and Ethnic Equity in Development (CREED) in 2021. In February 2022, CREED launched a racial and ethnic equity (REE) pledge for US-based international development organizations and created a learning community to advance racial and ethnic diversity, equity, and belonging in the international development and humanitarian assistance sector. Across her career, Indira has founded, led, and advised organizations and coached leaders to strengthen equity, effectiveness, and achievement. Indira leads KAUR Strategies to enable authentic and transformative growth through advisory and coaching services; and is also a Senior Advisor at Palladium. In 2021, Indira published her memoir, Fast Forward to Hope: Choosing to Build the Power of Self, to share her journey from fear to hope as she faced stage IV advanced breast cancer. The book serves as a tribute to finding one's own power and cultivating life's trajectory.

Ricardo Michel brings more than 25 years of international finance and leadership experience in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining Palladium, Ricardo served as Managing Director of FHI Partners, a subsidiary of FHI 360, as well as Executive Vice President of AMEX International, Inc., an international development consulting firm. He was a presidential appointee in the Obama Administration to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where he was responsible for public-private partnerships and played a catalytic role in the launch of the U.S. Global Development Lab. Ricardo holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in accounting from Temple University.
Senior Manager, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion
Afiya Bey (she/her) joined Palladium in January 2022 as senior manager of equity, diversity, & inclusion. In this capacity she works with leadership including the Chief Executive Officer, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and across business teams to advance the company’s equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts across the Americas region. Prior to joining Palladium, she served as diversity programs manager at an international medical organization and was previously workforce development manager for a regional non-profit organization in Pittsburgh, Pa. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Afiya is passionate about people and effecting positive change through her more than 13 years of multi-sector experience and professional focus in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives and strategies.

John McPhail is the President and CEO at Partners of the Americas. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience at nonprofit organizations across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean and is a seasoned expert in partnership building, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. John brings significant experience as a country and regional director for international nonprofits, including Save the Children, World Vision, and Project Concern International. He has held leadership positions on the boards of numerous local nonprofits and associations in El Salvador, providing operational and strategic direction. He coordinated or co-coordinated multiple national and regional networks in Central America in health, water & sanitation, and agriculture/food security.

Natalie Abegesah is the Vice President of Human Resources and leads the global HR unit at Partners of the Americas. As an HR architect who innovates, enhances, and improves, Natalie creates engaging and productive workforces. With over 18 years of experience in designing and implementing HR programs, she has caused cultural transformation across private, for-profit, and nonprofit/NGO sectors.
Strategic Engagement Officer
Crystal Lander is an experienced senior policy and development expert in the United States and globally. Crystal joined Pathfinder in 2020 as the executive director of global affairs, leading the design and delivery of advocacy campaigns and overseeing external engagement strategies. She now serves as the Chief Strategic Engagement Officer. Prior to this role, Crystal developed and led the advocacy team at Living Goods, where she managed the organization's engagement on global health policy. She also developed and led the advocacy unit at Management Sciences for Health (MSH) for more than seven years where she successfully managed the organization's engagement on global health policy in the United States and in more than 30 countries.
Director of Development, Annual Giving
Aneesa Din is a dedicated nonprofit fundraising professional who believes that philanthropy is a powerful venue to enact change in the world. She has almost 20 years of experience in championing causes that advance economic, social, and political justice and currently serves as the Director of Development, Annual Giving at Pathfinder International. In this role, she leads the Individual Giving team in activating resources that are pivotal to the organization's mission to forge resilient pathways to sexual and reproductive health and rights. Prior to Pathfinder, she worked to develop and grow the individual giving programs at Constitutional Accountability Center, Demos, and Columbia Business School. Her dedication to cultural transformation in the workplace has led her to serve as a thought partner and advisor to Pathfinder's U.S. Racial Justice Leadership Team, making an impact on the organization's commitment to creating an inclusive environment. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering within her local community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater DC Diaper Bank.

Shanna Marzilli is the President and CEO of Plan International USA, an international humanitarian and development organization that partners with adolescent girls and their communities around the world to overcome oppression and gender inequality. In addition to leading the organization, she will guide the completion of the We Are the Girls $200 million fundraising campaign aimed at fighting gender inequality with girls around the world. Since joining Plan International in 2013, Shanna has managed the execution of projects, including Plan International's Because I am a Girl campaign, which raised more than $15 million for girls' education. Shanna has also spearheaded annual U.S. activities around International Day of the Girl, which included girls and young women taking over the positions of female executives at companies such as Facebook, Google, MSNBC, and YouTube. Shanna began her career in health policy, primarily at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, where she served as the assistant vice president for corporate compliance and ethics, senior vice president of strategic transformation, and chief marketing officer.

Jennifer Trainor serves as Plan International USA's chief marketing officer, overseeing marketing, corporate communications, fundraising, philanthropy, donor stewardship and corporate and foundation partnerships. Prior to this position, Jennifer was the vice president of marketing and fundraising at Plan USA, leading fundraising and the stewardship of Plan's donors in the mass market segment, as well as the strategies for brand, marketing and supporter engagement, in order to build awareness for Plan and to attract and retain an active, informed supporter base. Before joining Plan, Jennifer held marketing roles in the financial services industry, at institutions such as Fidelity Investments and Citizens Bank, for more than 15 years.

Deirdre White, a globally recognized leader in building tri-sector partnerships to address the world's most pressing challenges, is President and CEO of Pyxera Global. Deirdre has dedicated her 35+ year career to delivering social impact across the globe. Deirdre's expertise spans private, public, and social sector experiences. In addition to her role on the CREED Executive Committee, she serves on the Millennium Challenge Corporation's Advisory Council and the Leadership Council for Better World Leadership. Deirdre began her career in the private sector, working with Welt International, a niche consulting firm engaged in nonconventional means of financing international trade ventures. She later held key non-profit leadership roles at American Councils and the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX.) Deirdre expanded her private sector experience as a senior manager in Arthur D. Little's Moscow office, leading post-privatization restructuring efforts for large manufacturing enterprises in Russia and Ukraine, and later in ADL's Public Sector Practice, leading projects focused on strategy and organization for USAID, the US Trade and Development Agency, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, along with numerous government agencies across Eurasia.
Vice President, Technical Services
Kuralai Kunz is Pyxera Global's Vice President of Technical Services, overseeing program design and implementation of economic and community development programs for organizations such as USAID, the John Deere Foundation, World Bank, Mastercard Foundation, GE, Chevron, The Rockefeller Foundation, and others. She also spearheads ECD's new business development initiatives aligned with Pyxera Global's mission, goals, and programmatic priorities. Kuralai has experience leading teams in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia in designing and implementing many successful programs in supply chain development, agribusiness, entrepreneurship and innovation, and economic and community development. Prior to joining Pyxera Global, Kuralai worked for global development projects that supported economic development and civil society in the former Soviet Union and for the Embassy of Spain in Kazakhstan, where she managed operations and supported successful market entries for Spanish companies. Kuralai holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and is fluent in Kazakh, Spanish, and Russian.
Executive Vice President, International Development
Paul Weisenfeld is the Executive Vice President for International Development at RTI, a global research institute and international development organization. He leads RTI's international development practice, which is dedicated to improving the human condition through multisectoral, inclusive solutions that lead to sustainable economic growth, climate resilience, improved food security, quality education and health care, environmental protection, and greater prosperity. Before joining RTI, he served as a foreign service officer for USAID, achieving the highest rank of career minister in the senior foreign service and led high-profile initiatives across various international development sectors.
Distinguished Research Fellow
Richard Reithinger, MSc, PhD, is a Distinguished Fellow at RTI. An epidemiologist by training, he is a global health leader with extensive country-based experience managing infectious disease programs in Africa, Central Asia, and Latin America. At RTI he provides strategic and technical support to various global health and international development programs, mentors colleagues in research and scientific stature, and also is the executive sponsor of his business unit's racial justice and equity team. Prior to his position at RTI, Dr. Reithinger worked for the US Agency for International Development | Ethiopia as the President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) Team Leader and Malaria Advisor, establishing and then leading the implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the PMI program portfolio in Ethiopia. Dr. Reithinger is a member of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria Technical Review Panel; a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Task Force for Global Health's Health Campaign Effectiveness Coalition; and the chair of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Global Health Program sub-committee.

Shiro Gnanaselvam is the President and CEO of SI, a management consulting firm dedicated to helping global development organizations generate and use evidence to make their programs more effective. She played a key role in charting SI's growth from a small business to a successful medium-sized enterprise that is a leader in the delivery of planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning services. She is an advocate for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion in her organization and the global development sector. Prior to Social Impact, Shiro worked in a variety of international development organizations in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, including the Millennium Challenge Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM, and the World Bank.
Vice President of People and Culture
Eskedar Brantley serves as SI's Vice President of People and Culture. In this role, she manages core people operations and also oversees SI's vision for building a people-centered organization that is focused on cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that prioritizes the individual contributions and belonging of all. In this unique role supporting people operations and leading SI's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B) work, she also serves the DEI&B Council chair, as a thought-partner responsible for facilitating collaborative, thoughtful, compassionate, inclusive, and informed dialogue around DEI&B in support of SI's overarching DEI&B strategy. Over her 18+ year career in international global people operations and strategy, Eskedar has always found purpose in finding ways to impact others through thoughtful, intentional, and heart-centered work. Prioritizing staff members' needs through inclusive policy development, equitable access to opportunity, and enjoyable professional development experiences remains an important part of why she does this work. Further, SI's commitment to building an engaging and equitable company culture that supports cultural competency, anti-racist approaches, and disability-inclusive practices, among other priorities, is a core part of her why.

Dr. Taroub Harb Faramand is the Founder and President of WI-HER, a women-owned small business dedicated to enabling individuals to drive locally-led solutions for equitable and sustainable development. Dr. Faramand has more than 35 years of experience in the development sector, including work as a service provider and in various leadership positions, including as Chief of Party and Director of a Global USAID project. She established WI-HER in 2011 to address inequities and improve outcomes, and she designed the innovative and results-oriented methodology known as iDARE to enhance localization efforts and support individuals to be in the driver's seat of designing and delivering mutually-inclusive, locally-led solutions that do no harm. She is a versatile and proactive leader with extensive senior and board-level management experience and a deep understanding of USAID, MCC, the United Nations, and the broader donor community. In 2022, Dr. Faramand received the USAID Alumna of the Year Award for International Service for her lasting contributions to international development.
Chief Operating Officer
Razan Farmand is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of WI-HER and a compliance and risk management expert. As the COO of WI-HER, she provides leadership, management, and vision to ensure that the company has strong operations, compliance, oversight, and administrative and reporting procedures, along with people systems in place to effectively grow the organization. She strives to foster an inclusive culture that encourages transparent and authentic conversations among our diverse team. Razan also has a legal background in the criminal justice system, where she argued and tried legal issues advocating for equity and justice for marginalized groups, clients with mental health issues, and trafficking victims. During her time at the Public Defender's Office, she was nominated and inducted into the prestigious American Inn of Courts, an association promoting the highest levels of professionalism in the practice of law. Razan also brings 18 years of experience living and studying in a conflict zone. This has given her the ability to relate to our global teams and the communities we serve on a personal and deep level. She is passionate about the intersection between the rule of law, health, education, and social inclusion.

Edna Cruz is Winrock's chief people officer with the People and Culture unit. Cruz has over 20 years of experience in the field of human resources in driving positive change through people strategies, utilizing her expertise in the areas of organization development, change management, talent development, programs, policies and employee engagement. She has experience working for both private sector and nonprofit humanitarian organizations, including the American Red Cross, where she served for nine years, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for the Biomedical Services Group. Prior to joining the American Red Cross, Cruz spent 11 years at CSC (Computer Services Corporation), where she was able to influence positive developmental change in all areas of the business. Cruz is an exceptional human resources partner, leader and contributor to business operations. She is a strong strategic thinker who has been sought after to work on and execute large strategic people-change initiatives. She has a deep understanding of how employee engagement affects all aspects of an organization's effectiveness and appreciates the importance of solid policies, strong collaboration and clear communications to effectuate change through all levels of an organization. Cruz is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources. She is fluent in Spanish.
Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Tayo Rockson serves as Winrock International's newest Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. He is a writer, speaker, strategist, podcaster, poet, professor, and brand strategist committed to fighting against systems of oppression and suppression. As the son of a diplomat, Tayo grew up understanding the nuances of multicultural diversity while living on four continents. He leveraged his experiences to establish himself as an authority in communicating effectively across cultures and personal branding. He graced various stages to share his knowledge including TEDx, the prestigious Chautauqua Institution, and the United Nations. He's the author of Use Your Difference To Make A Difference and in 2020, he launched the national anti-racism campaign called #LetsTalkBias.
Former Global Head, Health Practice, Palladium
Farley Cleghorn is an international expert who has over 30 years of experience in international health development, research, and program implementation as an infectious disease thought leader, systems thinker, and epidemiologist, with a particular focus on HIV/AIDS. Until his retirement in 2024, Farley led Palladium's global Health Practice, an interdisciplinary team in four markets (US, Europe, Middle East, and Australia/Pacific) focused on holistic responses to global health priorities based on sustainable health systems, implementation science, health promotion, and prevention. He had a distinguished career at the US National Institutes of Health before serving as a senior scientist and faculty member at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Former President and CEO, IYF
Until 2024, Susan Reichle was President and Chief Executive Officer of the International Youth Foundation (IYF)—a global non-profit working to equip and inspire young people everywhere to transform their lives. After becoming CEO in 2019, Susan oversaw the revitalization of IYF's mission, vision, and values. Before joining IYF, Susan spent 25 years in leadership positions at USAID missions overseas and in Washington, D.C. During her last three years at USAID, she served as the Counselor to the Agency, USAID's most Senior Foreign Service Officer, and advised the Administrator and senior leadership on key global development policies and management issues. She also oversaw the Agency Coordinators for Youth, Countering Violent Extremism, and Local Solutions; spearheaded the development of the agency's first Youth in Development Policy; led the Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance bureau during USAID's response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake; and partnered with the Government of Colombia (2005-09) to design a new strategy to consolidate Colombia's conflict zones.
